Nevertheless, the influence that Christianity has experienced over the years of its existance has created certain differences in these religions. Both Christians and Jews believe in the existance of God who was the one to create the universe and everything inside it. What differs is the notion of God: Christianity claims the idea of the trinity of God. In Judaism God cannot be divided into different parts but is holistic. For Jews God is unique and is a wholesome entity, which is “solid”. The basic difference on the background of general similarities is that therefore Judaism rejects the existance Jesus as one of the three “parts” of God.

The peculiarity of Judaism is that people belonging to other religions are still the children of their God, who deserve his love and holy protection. Another difference between the religions is the attitude towards faith and good deeds. Judaism puts good deeds higher as a complete reflection of faith. Christianity does not consider good deeds be sufficient if a person does not have faith inside. In terms of morale, Jews believe that a person is born neutral and only then shapes his moral values. Christianity states that a person inherits the moral values. There are also numerous other small differences, though both of the religions posses the same message in the core – Love.
