MBA Application Essay
The rapid development of the contemporary business environment is shifted by the booming globalization and unprecedented changes caused by fierce competition on the global marketplace. Along with such remarkable transformations, the necessity of high-quality workforce is of ultimate importance. The diverse marketplace necessitates tremendous changes due to the rapid expansion of global business. As both time and geographical borders are becoming more eliminated with each single day, the workforce is becoming more diverse.
The candidates that posses reputable educational degrees and obtain solid educational backgrounds stand much better chance to win prestigious vacancies in the conditions of competitive international working environment. Considering current market requirements, the most optimal option for candidates is to take the courses aimed at interdisciplinary background to combine the necessary knowledge and skills in management, business, economics, accounting, marketing, social and behavioural sciences.
In addition to this, as a future leader, I clearly comprehend that the contemporary highly-diverse business environments do not approve of the leaders that lack sufficient background, individual strategic vision (leadership style) and charismatic capacity to combine employee performances with the corporate goals.
In 2006, I was awarded Bachelor of Arts at the University of ______ and would like to further continue my education at ______ State University to obtain a degree of Master of Science in Business Administration (MSBA). The MSBA study program holds main emphasis on international business which definitely complies with my future career prospects.
The MSBA international focus is a solid background and starting point required in a diverse international business environment to launch and enhance professional career growth either home or abroad. My primary intention is to become an international marketing expert to further promote corporate goods and/or services. Herewith, I am fully aware that the field of international marketing does not exist in isolation from other important subjects and areas of expertise. Therefore, I have already launched preliminary preparation for the required courses within the framework of the MSBA, including: accounting, economics, administration, strategic management etc. Most importantly, my genuine expectation on this stage is that the MSBA will provide invaluable practical experience based on corporate success stories and relevant case studies as well as professional expertise from lead marketers.
In the course of preparation, I am studying core marketing and business components, including: market segmentation, SWOT analysis, brand management strategies, targeting & positioning strategy analysis, marketing communications plans, risk and contingency plans, actionable marketing plans supported by financial budgeting/workings, PESTLE analysis, 4P, 7C, viral marketing strategies etc.
With each single day marketing applications shift to suit the ongoing realities, and many powerful concepts applied a decade ago are unsuitable today. Therefore, the study of international business and marketing is rather dynamic making companies permanently adjust to new realities. This requires flexibility, and therefore my primary reason for application to this course is to become flexible decision-maker, strong leader able to manage critical situations and processes. Strategic communication is another important skill I expect to acquire during the study program since the art of making and marinating contacts is an indispensable part of the art of sales. Finally, no marketing strategy is possible without creativity, therefore corporate marketing success largely depends on original approaches and applications to win the desired market segment or persuade potential consumer.
